Therapy for Emotional Health & Wellness

Counseling Outlook

Do you feel as if those around you don't understand you?  Feel alone or a sense of isolation?  Are you experiencing self doubt and struggle to overcome obstacles to think positively?  You are not alone!  Many people feel this way.  And it is worth exploring to identify what you don't want in your life and to define what you do.

Many times we find ourselves saying, "I can't do this anymore," "I don't know what is wrong with me," "They don't understand me."  Our life story is too short to spend time entertaining negative thoughts or avoiding unpleasant feelings by numbing our emotions.

Therapy is a collaborative process built upon respectful listening and courageous conversations. Ensuring clients feel understood is central to my therapeutic approach, while utilizing methods to create opportunities for change.  My passion for learning keeps me incorporating knowledge across disciplines so I can bring new perspectives to my clients.

Most people are doing the best they can with what they have at the time. We all get stuck in life's transitions and sometimes our best efforts at getting out of the situation are actually what keeps us there.  Let’s work together to find more options to handle the bumps in our lives rather than limiting our choices, being intentional in seeking the things that bring you joy and fulfillment.

Hi, I'm Krystal!

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where I still reside. I have been in public education for over 26 years as a teacher, counselor, and behavioral specialist.
